York Aviation and Oxford Economics have published the report ‘Making Connections: Improving the UK’s domestic Aviation Connectivity with a new four runway hub airport’.

The report  argues that a decision on where to build new runway capacity in the southeast of England is of high importance to other cities and regions inthe UK. The authors state that Heathrow Airport currently serves UK destinations poorly, and go on to assert that a new four runway hub airport would serve the UK’s economic needs more effectively.
