The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) provides monthly UK aviation statistics. The total terminal and transit passenger (PAX) figures for November 2010 compared with November 2009 are summarised below:

  • · for all reporting UK airports in November 2010 – 15,014,393

(compared with 15,144,448 in November 2009), a decrease of 0.86%;

  • · for all reporting regional airports in November 2010 – 5,598,248

(compared with 5,878,417 in November 2009), a decrease of 4.77%; and

  • · for all reporting London airports in November 2010 – 9,416,145

(compared with 9,266,031 in November 2009), an increase of 1.62%.

 The total air transport movement (ATM) figures for November 2010 compared with November 2009 are also summarised below:

  • · for all reporting UK airports in November 2010 – 165,391

(compared with 170,510 in November 2009), a decrease of 3%;

  • · for all reporting regional airports in November 2010 – 89,550

(compared with 93,445 in November 2009), a decrease of 4.17%; and

  • · for all reporting London airports in November 2010 – 75,841

(compared with 77,065 in November 2009), a decrease of 1.59%.
