HM Treasury will announce its plans around the reform of Air Passenger Duty (APD) in an announcement due on 23 March 2011. Aviation Minister, Theresa Villiers, told a conference on UK air travel that the Government is looking into the effects of the per passenger tax on the aviation industry. The Department for Transport has contributed to Treasury work on this with analysis on the impact of aviation taxation.
