5 October 2010
British Airways has reported an increase in passenger numbers and load factor for September 2010 in comparison with the same period in the previous year. More than 3.04 million people travelled with the airline in September 2010, and passenger traffic measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPK) rose by 1.3%. Load factor for the airline increased by 0.9% on September 2009 to 82.4%.
These figures were expected to have been strong due to the grip of the downturn in September 2009, with a recovery beginning to emerge by October 2009.
