This year’s Environmental Protection UK Autumn Update focuses on low cost air quality management measures, taking in best practice from across the public and private sectors. The event will also form a topical update on air quality issues to include:
- implementation of the Defra review of Local Air Quality Management;
- progress on low emission strategies, toolkits and more; and
- renewable energy support packages and their air quality impact.
Discussion will also form a core part of the event, giving delegates the opportunity to put questions to expert speakers, raise issues and discuss key topics with peers.
The Autumn Update will be of particular relevance to:
- environmental managers from the private and public sectors;
- air quality and environmental consultants;
- Local Authority Officers engaged in local air quality review and assessment, transport and planning; and
- Elected Members with an environment brief or interest.
